today while the blossoms still cling to the vine. . .

John Denver does it here... a song at my wedding and from my camp times… a joy, a joy, a joy.

I am completely underwater with a headache today.

and i fed a thousand chickens and collected their eggs.

and i made a birthday cake, and i hung the birthday banner.

i took the medicine which hasn’t worked.

i bought the dinner the birthday girl desired. (it is tomorrow but we celebrate tonight)

i did the laundry.

i listened to the class while driving two boys to soccer.

I participated in class while frosting the cake.

I ate all the leftover frosting.

i did the things, my friends. i did the things.

life is underway. i can swim.

-love you.

Today’s haul. Quiche, anyone? Hahahahahahahaaaa.

  1. 1) I cannot listen to any John Denver without either crying outright or feeling nostalgia… Except Grandma’s Feather Bed… That one just makes me happy.
    2) Holy crap that’s a lot of eggs!

Leave me your words! thoughts! sweat, blood, and tears not really needed but okay, if you want... :)
